Html Layout
Hey all,
I have download this layout and i have found out i don't have a HTML editor, and i hvae tried Notepad and that is just to hard does anyone have any ideas to get a HTML eidtor or something or is there something else besides Note pad and also i'm unsure how to use word with a webpage ^.^? here is the page i got the layout and what the layout looks like The site The layout picture I really love this layout. Dreamweaver
Frontpage are both good html editors if you can't edit with notepad. They aren't free though. I know you can download a trial of dreamweaver at www.macromedia.com

If you don't understand html, go through lissa's basics section carefully... perhaps read her Notepad tutorial (if you can't find it, just search the site). Maybe you'll figure it out... If, however, you still want to use an html editor, here's a place to download free ones... though I'm not sure how good any of them are, you can choose:

Thanks all, just a little bit more help
Thanks all but I do know HTML and i have used this site for many sites that i have built, i wasn't sure if Notepad would help but it has so it is all well and good but unsure NOW!!!! What doe sit mean by: "Upload into your server"

That mean take all the files you downloaded (and edited) and put them on your webspace.
Usually via an FTP client or if you are using geocities, go to the file manager and upload from there (I'm not sure about the other free services out there).

Hey I'm looking for posts that I can contribute to, and this one I can give you a lot of info for, but it's so old, maybe you've found out that myspace has completely restructured their membership and made everyone start over from scratch.
I have a couple editors that you can get for free no problem kompoZer is a good one among many. If you are still stuck ask me and I'll give you a list of many. d

Try notepad ++ . Or if that's hard for you Dreamweaver should be good.
But the the former is free whereas the later costs money
