I don't quite understand how buttons

HTML Code:

<button></button>

work. I need to make one that links to a website. I'd also like it to open in a new window. Can somebody provide the syntaxt with intstructions?

As for linking and opening in new window. you'll need to add target="_blank" wherever your hyperlink goes.
