Like when you right-click on an image, a window pops up and it won't let you copy and save it onto your computer. How can I get that lock code...thing? Can somebody help me on this? I have no idea what I'm doing - . -;... Thanks so much in advance.

You can have a look at www.dynamicdrive.com (http://www.dynamicdrive.com)

But I think if you right click and then the window pops up and then you let down the left mouse button and press enter or space and do this twice you are able to save the thing anways.
Why don't you search lissaexplains.com anyway? She's got the code where the save as is disabled. And I'd take the forbidden right click without a pop window

even with all those fancy scripts you can just click on the image and move it to the adress bar and it will open the actual image and you are able to save it

my warning is just that even if you have 100 of scripts online people always can take your images, no matter how. There is always this TEMP folder that stores all the images that have been visited. and with 100 scripts your page will only load so slow, so that's not a pleasant (SP?) thing for the visitors either.

Just think good about what you put online or not. If you really really don't want to loose it to other people then just don't upload it. That's the best way to prevent your images, html and other stuff :)

Ok, thank you...I think o.0 It's just that...well...look at this link:

http://www.geocities.com/char_link_17/flo.html

When you right click on the picture, it won't let you save it. You can't even select all and save it on paint or anything...Just wanted to know how to do that. My site will contain my fanart so...I wouldn't want somebody stealing it :/

no matter what you do it can be stolen. they can view the source get the url of the pic and save it that way so sorry.

they can also look in their internet temp folder and it will be there for them to copy.

Like everyone's said there is no 100% way of stopping people from stealing your stuff. But if you still want the no right click codes, look here:

It's not safe at all. I did my right click thingy and tataaa I had the pic, ready to save on my computer. What's actually the prob if people have your pic everywhere but have the credit? Why don't you just "ruin" the pic and write your name on the pic?

The best way to prevent people from stealing your stuff is to sign it. If your name is on it, then they either don't want to mess with it or if they try to take your name off it just messes up the picture. All painters sign their art work right? So why shouldn't you do it for Graphics made for the web too? I agree, "If you don't want it stolen then don't put it on the web", but if you are like me, and want to "show off", then sign it!

Good Luck

@.@;...er...ok...guess you guys are right. Gonna have to sign them then. I'll check that right-click thing for a little more security...agh...even though it won't really help - . -;

Anyways, thanks everyone ^-^

Photoshop and maybe PSP will add a digital watermark that you can track through digimarc.

http://www.digimarc.com/products/IMAGEBRIDGE/default.asp

Corbis.com uses it on their images.

you could do it by hand, on each image by yourself. Or you can read here :
