how do u make transparent images?

Depends on what program you've got :)

PSP 7:

Go to:

File >> Export >> GIF Optimizer

Then select the colour you widh to make transparent.

in paint shop pro 7, this is what i do:
if i wanted the colour to be transparent to white, i set the background colour to white. (#FFFFFF)
go to colours > set palette transparency > if a box comes up asking you to change it to a single layer or something click yes > in the next box make sure "optimized medium cut" and "nearest colour" are selected, click ok > select "set transparency value to nearest background colour" then click ok.
