Does anyone know where I can find small, free graphics that would be suitable for decorating blinkies?

You can search google (http://www.google.ca/) under images, and find something there. If its too big you can re-size it. The way I like to do them is make them yourself pixel by pixel. You only really need MS paint to do it. There are a couple tutorials on this site (http://www.webbie.fr.fm) . Try going there.
