I blocked right clicks, however people are stealing them by copying them. how do I stop this?

take them offline. the only sure way to prevent people from stealing stuff is not to put it online.

there are plenty of ways to get around any preventative measure you take, and all they really do is annoy people (especially the no right click thing) :P

but is there anyway to stop people from copying?

Not realy because their is no way to stop viewing of your source file and they can see where your pictures are there and go get them where no click scripts don't work, or they can just disable scripts.

no, there is no way to stop people from copying.

as said previously, the only way to prevent people taking your stuff is to not put it on the internet in the first place.

If you use a pop-up you can try to prevent people form being able to get to that option but some browsers would still have it there so the is NO way to prevent people from coping stuff you put online.

As every on said above the only way is to dissable right click and then encrypt your source code which is point less and then makes it hard to update because you cant read it your self and people can always print screen, if only there was a way to dissbale print screen where it don't show, or comes out blured that would be good fom me but there isn't yet, so you have to use the basic methods, that can only protect them to a ceratin extent.

Thanks Anzrew:)

Put a link back to your site on your images. Or better yet, put a big watermark on the image and then tell people that they have to contact you to get the unwatermarked images. That way you can see that they are linking back to you/giving you credit on their site before you give them the picture.

Otherwise, there is no way to prevent coping because the person could always do a screen capture.

htaccess can prevent hotlinking, but not theft of images.
good thought though.

i like sugar rush's idea about making the entire image a link back to you're site. there ways around it and that won't stop the theft. really the only thing you can do is to discourage them from stealing your work.

you have the same problem we all have, people stealing our work :(. some people are just lazy and can't do there own stuff so they steal other peoples hard work.
