I offer free layouts on my site, but sometimes when I save an image as a .gif or even .jpg, the picture gets distorted because of color loss. Is there any way to save images as a .gif and not have the picture lose any color?

I use PSP8, if that is of any help :)

i'm not sure how to do this in psp8, but you can download a free program called GIF Construction Set and then use Animation Wizard, and it will create a gif (it can be animated or still) with the least possible color loss, using a local palette.
