I have 2 character shrines (guess who) and I was wondering what do you use to make screen shots?

Look for the Print Scrn (screen) button. If your keyboard is like mine, it'll be on the same for as the F1, F2, etc. buttons. Think on the right, above the insert button.
Once you find it, hit it. Go to a picture program (paint shop pro, etc, or even something as simple as "paint". Any program like that) and paste it like you would anything else.

This is the intructions for the computer, by the way :lol: I don't know how they do TV ones.

Button may look like this:
Print
Scrn
SysRq

*looks above the "Insert" key* Erm... is it the:

Prt Sc
SysRq

???

also if you do 'alt', 'print screen' at the same time you get just the window and not the entire screen. no cropping needed, yaaaahooo :D

I was just browsing here, but Amicus, that was a handy tip! :)

Also, if you want to save, just press the Print Scrn SYS RQ and open paint, click Edit then paste, and choose yes, and save the file

Okay, I was doing just all fine at first then I played the other clip I downloaded and when I paste it in MSPaint all I see is the Windows Media Player but not the clip. I tried it with Real One Player but it doesn't work either.

What happened?

You will need to turn down "Hardware Acceleration" to capture from wmp.
Open wmp click "Tools" then "Options" then to the "Performance" tab and in the "Video Performance" box at the bottom move the slider one notch to the left.
Then open the file you want to capture from and do the print screen method as mentioned above.If it still doesn't work move the slider one more notch to the left and close/reopen wmp.

Try looking where the Scroll Lock is....Sometimes it is spelled PrtScrn

erm...i am using ie 6 browser but i still cant find the button...is it under tools or file or anything cos i cant seem to find it..thanks...
