Okay, I already saw this topic awhile ago, but *surprise surprise!*, I can't find it. Oh yeah, I need to know how to do it using Photoshop 7.
How do you make the font look like it does here: I mean, the black stuff around it.

Looks like it is done by individual pixels. If you save the image and zoom in on it, you will see that the black line is a think border painted using a paint brush.

if you just wanted to get the border to be a black line, just do it like this (it's a LOT easier!!)
-make your text a seperate layer
-right click on your layer in your layer panel
-click on "blending options"
-on the left side there will be a choice called "Stroke"
-click on stroke...and then double click it to open it up in the right
-change the color to black or whatever caller you want the
border to be
-then you can change the thickness of the border by changing
the pixels
-then press ok....YOU'RE DONE!!!!!!!!

a stroke is mostly making the actual letter part smaller... like if you have white letters and a black stroke, then how bigger the stroke how smaller the white parts. You could do it with stroke, it just depends on what you like. Here's another way to do it:
- open a new file
- type some text
- click on the "magic wand" tool and click on the space around the text. Go to "select" and choose "invert".
- now the text should be selected.
- go again to "select > modify > expand" and choose 1 or 2 pixels.
Now right click on the titlebar from the image and choose "copy merged" and go to the image where you want to paste it into and choose "paste" and you are done.
