is the more keywords you have the better it is? I read this one article and it say "Write down every keyword you can think of which applies to your site that you want to bring targeted traffic in from." So, I'm having a celeb site. And if I put in all the star's name, will that be better? Are there anything wrong with spamming? NOt really spamming but applying as much keywords as I can that is related to my site.

i don't think it's a bad thing or spamming, if you put in more keywords then people will be able to find your site easier. unless you put in something completely unrelated.

it probably won't do all that much good. Google is the most used search engine, and it doesn't even use meta keywords or descriptions. Yahoo and AOL search also use Google results, so it won't matter for them, either.
but in the small chance that every one of your potention visitors uses one of the older search engines that still relies on meta tags, it might not hurt :P

do we have to join a search engine so people can search for our site? or we can just put the meta tags? I never submit my site to any search engine but when i went to yahoo or google i can still search for my site.

You can submit your site to lots of search engines though Add Me.com (http://www.addme.com) All you do is fill in your details along with as many keywords as you wish and submit to each search engine. Its easy to use with step by step instructions.

Most search engines use spiders to automatically search the web these days so they find sites anyway, no need for meta tags or to submit to them...and once google has got you listed all the other ones follow...so like dude said, they probably wont make much difference, but they cant hurt either.
