i am planning to start a webpage(i am a beginner) and i have read almost everything on this site about starting and it has been very helpful........but when i finish designing my page, how do i put it on the site? i have an account at www.topcities.com and the only thing you can do there is upload files and create HTML. but the thing that is wrong with that is that after creating the HTML it just disappears. and there is also a place where you may use FTP but i don't have FTP and the only FTP download I have found requires WINZIP which i do not have. if anyone out there is willing to help me, that would be great. if anyone can tell me where to download a FTP program without WINZIP that would also be great. thank you for your help.

I think that you can use internet explorer as an ftp. This is what you would do. At the top where you put in the address that you want to go to, you would put in ftp://ftp.yourinfo.com or net, depending on what your address ends with. Then it's going to ask for your username and password. Then you just drag and drop your files.
