I believe divs automatically have a transparent background if you don't specify any background attributes.

If you're talking about something else, your answer could most likely be found on a search of the forum.

you either use background: transparent; or background-color: transparent; to make the background transparent. That isn't too hard, is it? :lol:

i tried background: transparent; - it didn't work for me, but in the end i just made the background colour #000000 and then set the opacity to 50%
