The email form recommended by Lissa ( http://www.lissaexplains.com/html4.shtml#form ) works well enough, but there is no way for a person submitting an email through it to know if the attempt has been successful. Can anyone point me to an email form (or would Lissa consider adding one) that either, on successful submission, sends the visitor to a page saying 'Thank you, your message has been sent,' or generates a Java message to that effect? I don't want my visitors to be confused!

Just a suggestion....You cold try getting one at www.bravenet.com You can set a page to come up that it has been sent....you can also customize it how you want it to look.
Or if you have PHP you might want to try this site:

The trouble with that is that I don't want Bravenet ads intruding in my webpage (it's my own domain) but I am not willing to pay extra just for email forms. True to cheapskate form I was hoping for something free *^.^;
I never mind putting up, say, a credit link, but pop-up ads are a pain in the tushie. That's a major reason why I wanted to get my own domain.
The PHP idea looks worth checking out, so thank you.

Thank you, I think I've got a handle on it now.
