Well the topic was pretty obvious. I wanna who is your host, and how do you pay them?

If you wanna know y im asking, that's because I want someone to host my domain, which is non-existant for now, just to let you know. But it will exist in the future. [I just hv an acct at Geocities][And at deadlyasparagus][And suama offered to host me but yet to find out how ;)]

For example, you would buy your domain name and/or domain package at Dreamhost (http://www.dreamhost.com). You can pay them either by check or credit card.

If you go to sites like the one I mentioned, they have FAQ (frequently asked questions) pages where you can find the answers to the questions you are asking.

Hmmmmmmmmm.. Thanks! But I noticed some sites didnt have a host name there [Like no ads] and maybe just pay a sertain amount and can own the whole domain? Im confused at that kind of sites. Actually they're all around, so I wanna know who hosted them, tried asking around, but no replies so I tried here at LEIA. :D

Domains come from registrars, such as http://www.godaddy.com (you can pay them with a credit card). You pay them once a year for the domain name, but just the name. You have to get hosting from somewhere else.

Some hosts do register domain names...

search google for 'website hosts' and some should come up. if you already have your name, some sites will allow you to host it there free (like 0catch) yet still have advertisments. usually on hosting sites they'll give you step-by-step instructions on how to get your site hosted there.
