Hey.

I personilize pictures for people and make site layouts, yet lately I've been getting some requests for layouts dubbed 'RPG Layouts,' where you have a personilized picture as a background, and the table coding allows the text to rest a-top of a certain point (usually a box designated for the text area). I've tried many things to get this whole thing to work, yet I never can get it considering most of my layouts are done with div layers and they just don't work with RPGs. I was wondering if anyone knew how to do this, and if they did could they teach me the correct coding?

Thanks in advance!

What does an RPG layout look like? Do you know of an example?

Yup. Here's an example...

I can supply another for you if that one isn't exactly clear. :)

(P.S: It's all one big link, not seperate ones.)

Those are usually coded with frames or iframes (http://www.lissaexplains.com/frames.shtml).

If you use an iframe, it'll be pretty similar to coding a div layout. You just position it (http://www.lissaexplains.com/html7.shtml) where you want it.

But if you use frames, you'll have to slice the image into several pieces and divide it up between several framesets.

O_O That's a terrible url, lol ^_^

Okay, thanks!

I was wondering though, would I be able to use frames on boards such as on the Boards 2 Go server?

LoL, I know, but it's the only place where I can upload my picture and direct link it ^_-
