Hey, I was wondering if there's any way to retrieve a password from the system your AIM is installed in. Here's the situation : I went on vacation and tried to use AIM Express up there and then realized that I don't know my password since it's saved on my computer...so I just got home and was trying to figure out how to view what it was. But instead, I stupidly deleted the part where it says "Saved Password" and now I can't sign on my screenname ! Lol, and I know they have that link you click on where they will send you your password, but that's never worked for me and it isn't working now...I don't know why, but I just don't get the email. Is my password saved ANYWHERE, like in the regedit directory or something ? Thanks for any help you can give.

Err...probably not. :( If it's not being sent to your email then you might have registered your screenname w/ a different email address??? Or maybe if you get lucky, you could check the AIM folders that are stored on your computer somewhere...I think you can find them under Program Files. But I wouldn't count on that...just try to get that password sent to your email; that's about all you can do. :\
Thanks for the help. :( Lol I'm very sad about this. I have another screenname but I'm now trying to figure out how to get my buddy list from the old one in case I can't get it back. Any suggestions ? (Oh, and thanks for the email address suggestion, but I know it was registered with that address...stupid AIM !)

if the password is saved on your computer, once you get home you should log on to the sn with the buddylist. then go to "My AIM" menu, and go down til you see "Save buddylist". you can save it to your computer then load it on the other sn
Thanks guys ! Actually I am home now and deleted my password from where it was saved accidentally...but no worries, I finally figured it out ! Lol, and I wrote it down. Thanks for all the help though. :)
