Is htacces an extension? I mean, will I save my 404 error file as whatever.htaccess? Right?

".htaccess" nothing goes before the period. there is no filename, just the extension. and be sure to use quotes like that or some programs may actually save the file as... .htaccess.txt which would be wrong. |
