I'm trying to create a clan website, and i'm going to use php and MySql to do it. Does any one maybe have some suggestions, I really can't think of anything right know.
What kind of functions will i need?
What kind of admin functions will i need?
What will i show?
These are all questions i have but i cant think of the answers...

I don't quite understand. You'd probably be the best one to answer the questions. :p Ask yourself, what do you want to be able to do. Once you have that, than you can see what functions you will need. :)

What kinda clan is it?

For games, so far just Americas Army: Operations [http://www.americasarmy.com] but we will add more eventually..

I am just going to say, Plan your site out very well before, What DO you want? Like pages that state your members? Just plan it out first, you might not even need to use PHP or MySQL :)

Well, Your best bet as a "mini-forum" is some sort of bulletin board, not creating one, where it can be done, You probably won't want to make a completely new one. Some suggestions are Ikonboard, Vbulletin, or PHPBB.

Also, stats? What type of stats? Things like this can be easily accomplished with out use of MySQL and PHP.

stats on the player, i know a site that does this i just dont know how. Im thinking of using fopen with the url as a paramater but i dotn know what to look for...
