Yup - post questions here by all means, 'tis a bit more fun answering ones on php than on js or html.

I'd also suggest reading pretty much all the relevent tutorials at devshed and at sitepoint (wrote one for sitepoint myself). Download a copy of the manual (from php.net or elsewhere) and perhaps setup a localhost WAMP for offline scripting.

Once you progress to sessions, sockets and classes, you might do best trying to find an advanced php forum so as to get a range of answers from people already dabbling with the technologies.
