I have a question for an outlook express user. I want to change the name that shows up when you send an e-mail to someone. (I don't want it to have my last name) I have no idea how. Can anybody tell me?

Ok, i have outlook express! Ummmm, try this:

It may depend on your version... Go to Tools>options and then you may be able to edit it... I don't know of a way to fix it totally, but I'm sure there is one...you may have to change your name in your accounts settings. Hope this helps

properties
general tab
you may change the value of the first field "Mail Account"
you may change the value of user information "Name"

file >> identities >>
manage identities
-- click on ur name
-- click "propertites"
-- type n name

Thanks a bunch! I've got it so it's only my first name. Now I can e-mail people I don't know and and not worry about having them hunt me down. (I mean, theres thousands of people named Allison, right?) ^^
