I am having real problems with some photos I would like to enter into a competition.

Basically, the rules for uploading your photos are:

"The file must be in JPEG or EPS format, should be larger than 1MB and no more than 3MB in filesize. It must also be between 1200x900 and 2048x1536 pixels in resolution."

However, when I reduce the size of my image, the file size doesn't meet the minimum 1MB requirement. :confusion

Does anyone have any tips on how I can increase the file size without changing the resolution and it still being a JPEG image?

Make sure quality should be 100%. Make sure Exif information is preserved (contains camera information, etc.)

But, really, having a size requirement is stupid. Ask the contest organizers if they will make an exception.
