I'm writing someone a webpage, but they don't know HTML and want to be able to edit the page after I write it with out having to call me.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
What about:
Marcomedia Contribute,
Dreamweaver, or
MS Frontpage.

Well it would be nice is they learned the basics.

MS FrontPage to me is evil lol, but some of my friends use it. They make pretty decent webpages yet, it never replaces the good ol' NotePad.

1. What's this got to do with Dreamweaver and Frontpage
2. Just read Lissa's Website that will teach you all you need to know and when you need more just use the forums were all here to help. :)

alright. I have a solution. Your friends want to be able to edit the content, but not the HTML stuff, right? Try blogger (http://blogger.com). Its great, fast and easy. You make the template, and your friend can just post using the posting service. :) if you need a host that provides FTP tryuk.geocities.com (http://uk.geocities.com). Its just like geocities.com, except with FTP and a little uk in front of it. Good Luck! If you need anymore help, just ask at the forum.

I want to be able to write a nice looking, complicated webpage to where is looks "cool" and they want to be able to easily change all of the content. So what the first pages says all of the links and be able to add pages. (I don't think this would be easy for them because they would have too learn how to use the program I wrote the webpage in.)

Well, you want to create a new "blog" for each page of your site. Then, you configure the template and they just type the content in the post section. If they want to add new pages, just tell them to copy and paste the template from another blog into their new one and type the FTP information exactly as in the other blogs. thats all I can think of really...

I believe they want their site to look more like this (loren.faithweb.com/youth) than a bunch of blogs.

thats what I tried to explain. Blogger can act as a news publishing program. But, since it looks as though they want it to be professional, try looking into a news managment script in PHP. Its easier. :) Good Luck.

Frontpage is great for beginners, I've heard CuteHTML is as well. When you get used to it all, you might want to use Macromedia Dreamweaver and Fireworks MX.

Experts use Notepad, I believe.
