I am trying to redo my website. I would like to have the main page a single image that you mouseover and it fades and is clickable to another page with the links there for the site like this site here...

Well what a coincidence.
Many sites like to have an 'entry' screen with sime kind of scrolling message etc. To do this will require a Javascrpt of which is very simple and is quite straighforward.
