Okay. A blog is like an online diary where you can record your thoughts and your daily activites. a blog is just like a normal page,except with blog entries on it. But, most of the time, your host needs to support at least FTP. Or you could use a remotely hosted one that ISN'T on your site. Most the of the time, people want it on your site, so make sure you have FTP. What host are you using? (geocities, angelfire, etc)

it depends entirely on what you are trying to achieve.

do you mean that you want the blog to open in the frame that you have everything else targeted to?

thier blog program is a nice sytem which is hosted directly from your own site, but there are a couple of requirements
ie: cgi and sql capablities.

this blog system is highly configurable and has the added bonus of using your own host as the structure, ( so no worrying about the blog site going down unless your whole site does.)

a little more clarity in EXCATLY what you are trying to achieve will help to get the code you require.

since you never heard of a blog yet i would recommend blogger.com to begin with. i think moveabletype is way to confusing for a beginner (also way to confusing for me!) and you can always switch to that later.

all you need with blogger.com is a host that allows FTP and you are ready to go !
