i recently got a new myspace after deleting my old one and wanted to tell all my friends about it. well i tried to msg one of them to tell her and i got this msg "You must be Charlie's friend to send Charlie a message. " i was wondering how she did that and where u gatta go to get that setting to work?

I believe it's in your account settings under privacy.

nope, its not. the settings under privacy is u can decide who can view ur profle whether its 'friends only', 'public', or "18+", and under the privacy settings u can require email or last name for friend requests, approve comments b4 posting them, hide online now, show bday to friends, no fwd on pics, friends only can cmt on blogs, no friend requests from bands, n block users under 18 from contacting me, then there's the group invite settings and the event invite settings. it doesnt say anywhere that u can block ppl from messaging u if they're not on your friends list. and im 18 and so is she.

i know u can block ppl from messaging u if u block them directly from their contact box, but that'll make it so that u cant get their emssages but it wont show them THAT message.
