View Full Version : how do i outline words on psp? rajiVmirage 07-22-2003, 04:22 AM Ok, i want to outline some words i made with the A tool on my layout...is there any easy way to do this, or am i stuck with the paintbrush tool? Cherchezlafemme 07-22-2003, 04:32 AM Well what version are you using? On my version the border for text is the Stroke so when you're setting the settings for your text put how wide you want the Stroke to be. :D (BTW the width is in pixels) rajiVmirage 07-22-2003, 04:39 AM im on version 7....the stroke button? how do i get to that? Cherchezlafemme 07-22-2003, 04:44 AM Next time please edit your post instead of double posting! ;) Well, how did it work? If it turned out well then you're welcome ;) rajiVmirage 07-22-2003, 04:45 AM ha didnt know i could edit...stupid me. anyway, i figured it out, and thanks much! Cherchezlafemme 07-22-2003, 04:48 AM You mean the two little arrows on top and on the bottom? Well those set the width (up arrow=higher number, down arrow=lower number) *edit* You all are too fast for me lol! You're welcome and Welcome to the Forum! :waving: */edit* MaGiCSuN 07-22-2003, 12:45 PM i wouldn't do stroke, it makes the white (for example white text and black outline) go smaller so when you have to use small text for buttons etc you hardly see any white. open a new image make background (with fill tool) black then add text on it in white (only white colour) then go to "selections" and choose "select from vector object" then go to "selections" and click Modify > expand choose 2 pixels and hit "ok" then click on the title bar (the blue part) from the image with right mouse button, and choose "copy merged" go to your image and right click and choose "paste as new layer" and you are done :) Love, Mirna Nephilim 07-22-2003, 11:45 PM ...hm, thanx for the tips, even they weren't directed toward me. i need a good psp tut... |
