I noticed that all the websites that are using the scrolling headlines box are doing so with Cutenews. I don't feel like installing that, lol, so I was wondering if there was a way to achieve the same effect ( http://www.ne-yo.org or http://www.funkysouldiva.net ) with the current blog program I have now -- wordpress. Ok, so I know the correct term for what I'm looking to do. I just want to display the 5 most recent entries' titles (and who it was posted by along with the cmnts if possible) some place on my page. It would be independent of a sidebar so if I named it something else and uploaded it under my theme, would it still display? & Can someone point me in the direction of all available word press tags or the ones that I would use to show the titles of my 5 most recent entries? Thanks in advance.
