Arwen 02-02-2007, 07:50 AM You'll need something like CuteNews (http://cutephp.com/), but Bravenet doesn't allow PHP I'm afraid, does it? angelic.deception 02-02-2007, 09:38 AM You can fake updates by adding content to your page and then using CSS to make it look like a blog. Adding the date, a line under each entry, a title, etc. are ways to make your page content appear updated as though you were using Cutenews or something. It's more work, and you won't have automatically generated archive lists or anything fancy like that, but it is an option. There's also the option of using something like Thingamablog, which is a Java based platform which runs on your computer. You create a new entry and then "publish" it to your website. All Thingamablog does is create a webpage and add the informatio to it, so it's basically like the option I suggested above, only a machine does the hard work. Thingamablog is free, easy to use, and only requires FTP access to your webhost. So if you can upload files to Bravenet via FTP, you can use Thingamablog. Also, Thingamablog can convert Blogger templates to create your pages, so if you are used to using those tags to outline where your entries should be, you don't have to learn new ones. Another option (and one that has worked for a friend of mine) is to FTP a Blogger blog direct to your webpage, and then in the template section, basically change it to your website HTML, plus the tags for what blog content you want. I know that Blogger had some problems in the past with the set-up of that though, so if they're not cleared up it may be a bit troublesome to set up. Hope that helps. =) miss_phantom 02-02-2007, 10:27 PM You'll need something like CuteNews (http://cutephp.com/), but Bravenet doesn't allow PHP I'm afraid, does it?
