I've had this doberman pinchser since I was like 2 (im 18 now) and Saturday we had to have her put down because she was just too old. She couldnt walk, was half blind, wouldnt eat or drink for a few days, so we decided it was the best thing to do. I was very upset that day but now I realize it is for the best and that she isnt suffering anymore. But I'll still miss her. She was the best dog ever and she lived to be 17 years old.
I carry her doggy tags on my keyring now to remember her.
I just wanted to share that. I feel better now.

I'm sure that must be really hard :(
I think putting her tags on your keychain is a great idea!

Yeah my mom is acting like she lost a child. In our family the pets are loved as well as the people. I guess its just weird having her here since I was a baby and now im an adult and shes gone.

Aww.... :(
I'm sorry for your loss. At least she lived a long life with people who loved her.
