View Full Version : What is your screen resolution? iGeek 12-09-2006, 07:16 PM Hey everyone, I was just wondering what all of your screen resolutions were. iGeek EDIT: Mental Note: Post a poll next time. amyaurora 12-09-2006, 07:25 PM 800x600. Some of the computers at the college however are set to higher resolutions. bourdelson 12-09-2006, 08:39 PM 1280x768. It's a nice-sized screen for a laptop. I wouldn't want it any bigger, otherwise it'd be more painstaking to carry back and forth every day. maztrin 12-09-2006, 08:47 PM 1024*768 Douglas 12-09-2006, 09:02 PM 1024 x 768 :) Idiotic Creation 12-09-2006, 09:19 PM 1024 x 768 SUPER RP06 12-09-2006, 09:42 PM Currently, it's at 1024x768 Owlie42 12-09-2006, 10:39 PM 1280x800 angelic.deception 12-10-2006, 03:48 AM 1024 x 768 Arwen 12-10-2006, 10:39 AM 1024x768. :P Chris 12-10-2006, 12:45 PM 1024x768. :P Ditto. SUPER RP06 12-10-2006, 09:21 PM According to Josh's post, his screen resolution is set to 1280x1024. I'm planning to set the screen resolution to that when I get a new 19" LCD monitor for Xmas. J to the izzosh 12-11-2006, 01:25 AM Just a 17", Stevie. Cherchezlafemme 12-11-2006, 03:02 PM 1280 x 1024 iTom 12-11-2006, 04:50 PM 1280x768. My screen is 1280x800, not 1280x768. I don't want to lose 32 pixels! Marta 12-11-2006, 07:13 PM Because..... :hehe: Why :lolo: ? It was a little strange at first, but I like this better. :) J to the izzosh 12-13-2006, 03:15 AM 1280x960. I have a 17" monitor. You know, it's weird: 1280:960 is the same ratio as 1024:768, but I've never noticed that things aren't "square" in either those or 1280 x 1024. It's a good thing the human brain is so suggestible or I wouldn't be able to have my precious extra pixels. iGeek 12-13-2006, 03:25 AM I just switched to 1152x864 and its just... weird. Its all blinky and stuff. I think my eyes have to adjust for a little. SSPrincess 12-13-2006, 03:27 AM 1024 x 768 is the resolution of my family's computer as well as my college(or at least the ones I've been on anyway), but my beloved laptop is 1280x800. =) amyaurora 12-13-2006, 04:37 PM Just the other day I went to use the computers at the public library and they had all been reset to 640 x 480! Urrghh! Kerri 12-13-2006, 04:42 PM 1400x1050 :waves: djou 12-16-2006, 11:06 PM Just the other day I went to use the computers at the public library and they had all been reset to 640 x 480! Urrghh! What the cutekitten? I mean, nobody uses that resolution since...ages...It completely lacks on the practical side. Everything is way too enormous and everything scrolls horizontally, even very popular websites like Yahoo. (I know because my aunt used to have that resolution a year or two ago). darckasasin 12-17-2006, 01:33 AM Well, to be with the times, I also have 1024x768. 'course, that is my highest setting (15" screen.) Hopefully, I'll be able to get a cheap 17 or 19" LCD. |
