Hey everyone, I was just wondering what all of your screen resolutions were.

EDIT: Mental Note: Post a poll next time.

800x600. Some of the computers at the college however are set to higher resolutions.

1280x768.

It's a nice-sized screen for a laptop. I wouldn't want it any bigger, otherwise it'd be more painstaking to carry back and forth every day.

What size monitor do you have Josh?

According to Josh's post, his screen resolution is set to 1280x1024. I'm planning to set the screen resolution to that when I get a new 19" LCD monitor for Xmas.

Ooops, I made a mistake. My screen is 1280x800, not 1280x768. I don't want to lose 32 pixels!

I <3 1024x768... But it is so weird looking at a 17 inch screen with a 1024 after being on a 14 inch laptop for weeks with 1280...

We'd really appreciate if you could...ummm...write a little more....like with the right letters!!!! :lolo: Otherwise I will have to summon the moderators....wait a minute!?!?! :confusion :hehe:

The screen resolution on this computer was set on 600x800 until I just left it on the larger one, and nobody did anything about it. It was a little strange at first, but I like this better. :)

You know, it's weird: 1280:960 is the same ratio as 1024:768, but I've never noticed that things aren't "square" in either those or 1280 x 1024. It's a good thing the human brain is so suggestible or I wouldn't be able to have my precious extra pixels.

I just switched to 1152x864 and its just... weird. Its all blinky and stuff. I think my eyes have to adjust for a little.

1024 x 768 is the resolution of my family's computer as well as my college(or at least the ones I've been on anyway), but my beloved laptop is 1280x800. =)

 What the cutekitten? I mean, nobody uses that resolution since...ages...It completely lacks on the practical side. Everything is way too enormous and everything scrolls horizontally, even very popular websites like Yahoo.

(I know because my aunt used to have that resolution a year or two ago).

Well, to be with the times, I also have 1024x768.

'course, that is my highest setting (15" screen.) Hopefully, I'll be able to get a cheap 17 or 19" LCD.
