Ok I'm new to Xanga and am confused about the whole subscribe thing.

So i think subcribe means something to do with an email..but then what does it mean for xanga? the same thing?

like, if you use something on someone's xanga, their all like "please subscribe!" but what happens if u subscribe? you get emails from them? cuz that would be annoying lol. same with getting subscribers, why do they want them so bad, what happens?

Subscribing just means you subscribe to their posts and you can click "subscriptions" on your menu to see if they have updated without going to their xanga. I think you get a "subscription digest" in email.
