Welcome to the Christmas Avatar Contest! Avatar making will begin as of this post! The last avatar will be accepted Saturday, December 23, 2006. Voting begins Tuesday, December 26, 2006. Have fun!


KEEP TO THE THEME: CHRISTMAS
Only one entry per member.
Keep it clean: no graphic scenes, adult content, suggestive stuff, etc.Guidlines
Small little side notes:
To enter, you must:

Have more than or equal to 200 posts.
Have been a member for at least 1 month.To have your avatar selected to be voted on, you must:

Keep the file size lower than 19.5 kb.
Keep the maximum size 100x100 pixels.
Keep the minimum size reasonable.You will be notifies by PM if your avatar has been selected. A maximum of 30 avatars will be selected.*

Times have changed, Ryan. It was 500 when I got my avatar, and I thought it was 100, but that is the Arcade or something. I have horrible memory! :lol:

But why can't new users post a link to their avatar if they can't upload one? I think it's unjust.... Oh well, I'm in!

It can't be animated and you'll need to change your default avatar to the Christmas one. Or post a link to it, but I think it's better to upload it since you have enough posts. :)

do we have to draw it our selves? or can we get an image of the internet and edit it our way from there? an can we use any program like photoshop?

You can do whatever you want as long as you don't steal avatars you didn't make yourself. ;)

Thankies, but don't give me any credit for making the picture myself. I discovered it on a website. (www.actioncat.com) Alas, I am not much of an artist. The most I do is occasionally mess around in Photoshop, heh. Oh well, I think what I found is very adorable.

Well I didn't say ALL cats paint. ;) As for me, I haven't done much... I'm not exactly artistic myself. :P (Although, I wish I had a neat camera, you took a beautiful snapshot!)

I agree with Magln. That is a lovely shot. I would never be able to get the glare from the flame off of the lens. I always have a problem taking pictures like that.

Thanks Magln and Angelica!! :D It's from last Christmas sometime. And if I remember right, it's when we were using our memory card in my cousin's really cool camera.
I actually wasn't sure if I would keep the avatar, but I do really like it.
