So.... Thanksgiving is almost here. Yummmmmmmmmmy! What is everyone doing today and tomorrow?
I know that personally, tonight, I'll be baking pies and making stuffing and stuffing the bird.
Tomorrow I'm staying home and we're (mostly my mom and me) are going to be preparing Thanksgiving dinner. Boyfriend is coming over, and all the guys are probably just going to be lazy and play X-Box games. Who knows? They just won't be in the kitchen.
So what are you doing tomorrow?
amyaurora 11-22-2006, 05:28 PM I arranged it so the kids would be off with Grandparents and I'm going to spend it alone. Thanksgiving has never been important to me and I really need to rest.
SUPER RP06 11-22-2006, 05:37 PM We Canadians celebrated Thanksgiving last month!
I request the thread title be changed to "Tomorrow is (American) Thanksgiving!!!", so Canadians won't be confused.

How would Canadians get confused? I'm sure they are all smart enough to know the differnce.

Check.
We (my family) are heading over to our cousins house to celebrate. I think I'll be on the tramp most of the time, because they are freaks and don't have ANY video game systems, play the Magic School Bus on the computer (which has a 4 gig hard drive) and the only internet access is for the parents. They don't even know what Google is!!! Ramblings, sorry :D
Marta 11-22-2006, 06:49 PM My family doesn't have huge plans.
We will stay home and eat turkey or chicken, stuffing, cranberries, ect. My mom doesn't seem very excited about the cooking! :hehe:
We're also going to make a pumpkin pie! :D
J to the izzosh 11-22-2006, 08:44 PM Man, I wish the Canadian government would also honour the American Thanksgiving and just call it Thanksgiving II or something. I could handle some sweet, sweet turkey dinner tomorrow.
Having it on a Thursday is unfortunate, though. I would much rather have the potential long weekend.

You can have turkey tomorrow even if it isn't Thanksgiving in Canada. :D Just like you can be thankful all the time, not just on one day each year.
J to the izzosh 11-23-2006, 12:25 AM I could if a turkey would fit in my oven, but alas, I must wait for others to be ready for turkey dinner and no one whom I know to have an adequate oven seems to think it edible on days other than Christmas and Thanksgiving. It's a truly unfortunate predicament.

Aww... poor Josh. You need to find a friend with a big enough oven. I'll send you some cyber-turkey, ok? Trust me, with a 21 pound turkey, I'll have plenty to spare! ;)
Arwen 11-23-2006, 07:58 AM Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! :)
iGeek 11-23-2006, 04:40 PM Yay! Happy Thanksgiving! Leaving soon to cousins house, might be back, might not. Bye.
