Just for e-mail and instant message purposes, since AIM messed up my computer more than AOL.

AOL and IE are the same thing. I use FF 24/7, except for stupid sites that refuse to even TRY and open in FF.

Isn't AIM "AOL Instant Messenger"? :confusion

Its an outside program from the main AOL program. There is an IM add in inside the main program, but some people prefer the AIM program.

I just now updated my IE to 7 and In my [un]porfessional opnion it actaully got worse. The interface is terriable, even though you can probably change it (somehow). I'm not even going to mess with it.

Also, none of the little inconvinces (IE is all about them) seem to be fixed.

Umm I guess this doesnt really belong here, but it cant hurt.

I agree with IE's interface. It's really weird. I always get lost because there is no File / Edit / View, etc. Fortunately I avoid it as much as possible.
