Welcome to the Thanksgiving Avatar Contest! For this contest, there is a Thanksgiving theme. I believe only the U.S. and Canada celebrate this holiday. Make an avatar depicting Thanksgiving in a NICE way. The last avatar will be excepted on Thanksgiving Day, voting begins the day after. The winner will get one free year of advertising on my site, and an avatar. Good Luck!
Rules:
Only avatars posted here will be excepted (you can not enter through PM)
Thanksgiving theme
Avatars can be a minimum 65x65px. Maximum 100x100px.

J to the izzosh 11-11-2006, 05:50 PM The UK celebrates Thanksgiving's predecessor, Harvest Festival, I think.
We Canadians celebrate thanksgiving on the second Monday of October, though, so I'm out on this one. :D
SUPER RP06 11-11-2006, 06:19 PM Ummm.... I'm a Canadian too. We Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving in October while Americans south of the Canadian border celebrate Thanksgiving in November, so I can't enter.
Marta 11-11-2006, 06:21 PM Ummm.... I'm a Canadian too. We Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving in October while Americans south of the Canadian border celebrate Thanksgiving in November, so I can't enter.
You can if you want to Ryan! :D Don't worry about where you live.
I might make an avatar.... hmmm...
iGeek 11-12-2006, 03:22 AM :eek:I spaced on this one! Okay, the last avatar will be excepted Saturday, December 16, at which time the Christmas Avatar contest will start, and thanksgiving avatar voting begins December 25, and Christmas avatar voting begins January 1.
Arwen 11-12-2006, 11:12 AM and Christmas avatar voting begins January 1.
What?! :confusion
iGeek 11-12-2006, 11:03 PM The Christmas avatar contest will start on on December 16, then we will vote on those avatars on January 1, 2007. The Thanksgiving contest ends the 16 and we will vote on those avatars on Christmas (December 25).
Arwen 11-13-2006, 09:01 AM The Christmas avatar contest will start on on December 16
Why? Can't we start it earlier, so we can vote on Christmas?
Marta 11-13-2006, 04:20 PM hmmm....how did you get in charge of all these contests iGeek?
If Thanksgiving is on the 23rd in the US, why should we vote on it a month later? I would much rather be voting on Christmas avatars then.
Chris 11-13-2006, 09:46 PM The UK celebrates Thanksgiving's predecessor, Harvest Festival, I think.
According to WikiPedia we do, but we really don't. Not in any apparent way, at least.
squalls_dreams 11-27-2006, 04:53 PM is it too late to join?
Marta 11-27-2006, 09:26 PM I don't know, but I think we might just wait to do a Christmas avatar contest, since Thanksgiving is over and there weren't really too many entries.
SUPER RP06 11-27-2006, 10:01 PM Maybe we have to cancel the Thanksgiving avatar contest for the year. I think it's too late to have a Thanksgiving avatar contest, since we're getting close to the month of December and we rely on Christmas.
I was suggesting if we can have a New Year Avatar contest, relating to New Year's Eve/Day (January 1)
iGeek 11-27-2006, 11:34 PM Alright, sorry :D The Thanksgiving has been CANCELED, and the Christmas one will start as soon as I finish typing this.
hmmm....how did you get in charge of all these contests iGeek?
*sigh* Because it was me who started them!
Marta or Arwen, if you'd be so kind as to close this...
