I have a freewebs homepage. How/can I add a HTML code?

And... how do I take away the "ads banner" at the top pf my page? If I choose "freeze my page" does the ads go away??

Thanks

I've never used Freewebs, so unfortunately I can't be of much help to you.

Before you remove the ads though, please read Freewebs Terms of Service/FAQ and make sure doing so isn't against the rules. Otherwise, you may put a lot of work into a site, only to have it deleted because you broke the rules.

When they have an option where I can choose if I want the ads or not, I dont think that are against the rules, thats almost like giving candy to children, and then call the police and said they had taken it...

So.... :S I dont think Its agains the rules....

From the Freewebs Terms of Service (http://members.freewebs.com/page.jsp?page=termsOfUse):

8. All non-premium members are required to have the Freewebs Toolbar on their website. This adds a small strip at the top of your website with additional features for your site like bookmarking, tell-a-friend, and search. There will also be a small text link at the bottom of your site linking back to Freewebs.com. Users can upgrade their user status to premium status for less than a dollar a month. Other restrictions apply to all non-premium accounts including a maximum limit of 100 files per account, and unavailability of several site add-ons and extras. In addition, sites that have not signed up for any premium services or registered a domain name will automatically have banner advertisements inserted at the top of the site. Members can remove the banner ad and the Toolbar at any time by signing up for any of our paid services starting at less than $2 per month.
Users agree not to contact any advertisers run on Freewebs or Freewebs sites. If you have questions or problems regarding advertisements, please contact our support or abuse departments.

To use HTML only on Freewebs, log into Freewebs, click on "My Account" and then scroll down to the bottom and click on "Downgrade My Account to HTML ONLY mode" and then you'll use all of your own HTML without any Freewebs templates.

After you've downgraded your account, go to Site Manager and click on "Add A Page." Name the page, choose either .htm or .html for an extension [it doesn't matter which, but I always use .html out of personal preference] and then once it's created and shows up in your file list, click the icon of a pencil on a piece of paper. Once you've done that, you'll get a giant text field, and that's where you enter in all of your HTML. Add or type in your coding, click the save button in the upper left hand corner and select okay when it asks you if you want to save. :)

Okey thanks!

But how do I add an "email form" that I have in a html code?
Is it the same way? Or what? :)

Sorry about the last post, I found out of it :S

But: When I add the code I CANT drag it around OR choose where I can have it! Also, NOTHING else comes up on the page!

Well, that's because you're in HTML only mode now. You have to code your entire website, you can't just drag and drop stuff. Isn't that what you asked for?
