I couldn't help but notice that when I went to the bottom of the page to see who was on, I noticed six users and 50-some-odd guests. Either you guys are users and not signed in, or actual guests searching the site.
I invite you to join the community and be active in our chats. You are most welcome. So, don't be :chicken: and come and join

A lot of the "guest readers" are search engine spiders\\crawlers grabbing content.

Take a look: http://www.lissaexplains.com/forum/online.php

Maybe we need to find the way to prevent search engine "spiders/bots" from accessing the forum or create something like this for example:

Online: 25 members, 15 guests, and 300 search engine bots

There aren't 300 search engine bots looking around, just copies of the same search bot :P

And if we blocked them all the forum wouldn't come up on Google or other search engines.

Yes, but even those that are just searching may just happen to look at a 'community' thread and find it interesting. When I looked at the like, a Yahoo Slup Spidder was looking at a "HI, I'm new" thread, so ya never know...

The problem with that statement is that the spiders aren't actual people. A spider is a program, so I highly doubt they found it interesting. They're just following links.

If all of the copies of search engine spiders joined, I think there would be a good million users on here :lolol:
