What is the best way to create and integrate into a website, an interactive map? For example, I would like a map of the US, click on a state and it zooms up on it, click on a city and it zooms up on it, etc. I would use maps.google, but I need to add extra content.

I'm not sure how you plan to incorporate a map of any kind into your site without adding extra content. Google Maps does offer an extensive API and documentation (http://maps.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=26392), though.

Sorry, I didn't word the "content" statement quite right. I meant that I would like to have more control over what comes up than maps.google has. It looks like it won't be a problem with this new google thing, though. Thank you for pointing this new tool out!
