When I log in to my cPanel and click on Server Status I see the following:

pop up
named up
spamd up
cpsrvd up
exim (exim-4.52-15_cpanel_maildir) up
ftpd up
httpd (1.3.37 (Unix)) up
imap up
mysql (4.1.21-standard) up
eximstats up
syslogd up
Server Load 1.66 (1 cpu)
Memory Used 44.2 %
Swap Used 0.03 %
Disk hda5 (/) 50 %
Disk hda1 (/boot) 12 %
Disk hda2 (/tmp) 2 %

So, can anyone tell me what this all means? By the way,the Disk hdc1 (/backup) 84 % thing is blinking yellow and I don't really know what to do...

Most of it is a list of services and their statuses. POP server is up, nameserver daemon is up, spam filter daemon is up, CPanel server daemon is up, FTP server daemon is up, HTTP server daemon is up, and so forth. A daemon is just a background process.

The rest is server load, memory usage, and disk space usage, as percentages. Hda1, hda2, etc. are just Unix device names, likely for disk partitions. Just how that space is allocated, you would have to find out from your host.
