I have seen dropshadows used in sites and have read about the scrolling dropshadows. The problem is the descriptions are less than helpful. Does anyone know how to successfully add scrolling dropshadows?

Does anyone know how to successfully add scrolling dropshadows? vadimo 10-06-2006, 03:04 PM not really sure what "dropshadows used in sites" u mean, can u show some examples? frogstar 10-08-2006, 05:23 PM Below is a link that's the best example of scrolling dropshadows. http://jinabolton.com/ vadimo 10-08-2006, 05:33 PM ```` i actually dont know how hah hope some one will help you, sorry pb&j 10-08-2006, 08:52 PM ok, i see some shadows in the image, but that is part of the background image. can you explain what part you are looking at? thanks. newbi 10-11-2006, 01:56 PM I think it might be the drop shadow of the main content area - at least that's the only drop shadow I see. In that case, though, that's not CSS. Of course, I might be way off here. frogstar 10-18-2006, 12:49 AM It is CSS and not part of the image. There is a separate smaller imageused for the drop shadow & thru CSS it is sized areound the main image. pb&j 10-18-2006, 01:36 PM here are the images i see... http://jinabolton.com/img/site/layout/bg.jpg http://jinabolton.com/img/site/layout/bg_bottom.gif i cant locate any specific ones being used as only a dropshadow. perhaps contact the site owner and ask them directly. |
