Hi all, how does one create a script to allow for automated live updates according to:
- a preset weekly schedule and
- a playlist that is constantly modified in a radio station?

I'm not entirely positive on a script, but have you tried searching Google?

It will definitely take some kind of scripting, like PHP or CGI, so I'll move this to the Advanced Programming forum so that you'll have a better response. :)

And, from the way it's sounding, you'll need a nicely programmed script. I'd either look at the PHP Resource Index (http://php.resourceindex.com/Complete_Scripts/) (although I've never used it before, I have used its sister site the CGI Resource Index with much luck) or a professional developer.

I know first hand (being that I own a development company) that these kind of scripts need to be customized to the client for ease of use, integration, and overall satisfaction on the side of the customer. So, if you have the extra cash I'd go with a developer.
