I have two different sites that are hosted at two different servers.

One of these sites, site X was approved by google adsense and I have an account for that site.

My question is, now when I want to ad google ads on the other site, site "Y", do I have to create a separate google ad sense account for that site, or can I use the same account?

At first I thought it was possible to use the same account, I was looking for some link/a page at google when I was logged into my adsense account, or somewhere I could send in my other site, site "Y" to get it approved and add the same ads at both pages. But I found no such thing. So I'm not sure if I am supposed to create a new adsense account for each site.

So this is my question. Please help cause I feel lost! :(

Hmmm well you should be able to use it on different sites because some hosts make you put their google ads on your site so yeah :D

I'm pretty sure you can.

Is there a link somewhere that says "Set Up Google Ads"? I believe you click on that to do it.

Hope I helped... good luck!

from thier forum area...

How do I add a second domain name to my existing Adsense account? The
second site will also need different ad category.

You can put adsense ads on your second domain with the same adsense
account. What you are not allowed to have is to have more than 1
adsense account.

Just set the two different domains up on two separate channels so you
can track each individually (or together by the aggregate count).

should be ok as long as the second site is following the same basic rules required and the first site stays active.
