i have no clue why, but it gives me an error saying it cannot upload to the server. i have my ftp server always on and i have followed the instructions for many tutorials. i don't know whats wrong...

Your remote path is wrong. public_html is always before any subdirectories, and I *think* there's more to the path too :P You could always just have it in the main directory lol, and leave the remote path blank
