okie guys there is a big problem, my layout looks weird on different screen resolution..my screen resolution is 800x600 below are the screen shots of my layout in different screen resolutions

Most layout designers center the whole layout and set the background color to match, in your case black.

we just changed over to a 1024x768 res :scared:
after 800x600 for the past 7 years... this is a new experience.
i am trying to get used to the size of things to promote getting a new monitor for christmas :)

as for the question at hand... use a centering method or a fluid type of design that uses some percentages so it expands with the window its in.
