does anyone know how to make an individual frame appear on the screen for longer than the rest of the frames in an animated GIF? in other words say all the frames are seperated by a 100 milisecond delay, i would like another frame to have say a 200 milisecond delay. if there is a way to do this in photoshop or gimp, (currently using gimp) i would love to know how...

thanks

I'm unsure about the GIMP, but you can adjust the individual frame delay in Image Ready (http://acrc.umd.edu/TUTORIALS/IMAGEREADY/LESSON03/lesson03.htm), which comes paired with Photoshop.

Also, in the future, please try to post in the forum most pertinent to your issue. This thread would be better off in the hands of our graphics gurus, so I'll move it for you. :)

thanks for the link, i figured it out about 30 seconds after i posted that... guess i need to spend a lil' more time playing with my toys and a lil' less time crying when things aren't going my way.
