Hello everyone,

I’ve been creating my own websites (and using HTML) since 2003, but I still need some help sometimes. I am trying to figure out how to have a two-color background. I’m guessing you use tables(?) and right now I’m trying to tweak some codes I’ve already saved, with no luck. If you don't understand what I'm looking for, this is pretty close to what I mean: http://www.freewebs.com/matchgame/ Thanks for any help you are able to give me!

The page that you linked only has one background colour (the dark orange)

The other elements all have their own background. :)

Well, try making an image that is 1px in width and however tall you want the background to be in height, then use (CSS):

body {
background: color1 url(color2image.whatever) repeat-x top;
}

why settle for JUST 2 ?

<center>
<table background="http://images17.fotki.com/v5/photos/1/12759/103979/blusatin-vi.jpg"BORDER="1"WIDTH="100%"CELLPADDING="50"CELLSPACING="0"><tr><td WIDTH="100%"><br>
<table background="http://images17.fotki.com/v5/photos/1/12759/103979/white-vi.jpg"BORDER="1"WIDTH="90%"CELLPADDING="5"CELLSPACING="0"><TR><TD WIDTH="90%"><br>
<center>
<table background="http://images17.fotki.com/v5/photos/1/12759/103979/mintswirl-vi.gif"BORDER="1"WIDTH="80%"CELLPADDING="2"CELLSPACING="0"><TR><TD WIDTH="80%">
</center>

now,instead of background IMAGES,use body bgcolor instead
