Does anyone know how to create a shoutbox on a site so that others can upload comments etc?

General MJ, you shouldn't just view source and steal codes like that. As well, that particular code is something that is meant to be integrated into vBulliten and won't do Mrs Barrett any good at all.

What that means is, with your FTP program, you have to change the permissions of the file gb.txt, which is inside of the directory HGB from when you uploaded all of the files to your server.

The process is commonly called CHMOD, for CHange MODe. If I remember correctly, the permissions that make something readable and writable is 666.
