That is sooo terrible... poor guy. Something like that happened to Bill Gates when they were showing off Windows 98, the 'Blue Screen of Death' came up :P

There is not going to be a good voice recognition typiong thing, until they can customize it to every single user. and no that "read these 10 pages" customization..i mean take examples of yur vocal cordes/ voice box, and use a program to....around 10 years..if not 50..

I wouldn't say that long, I mean there is a certain scope which certain words can be pronounced. Apparently there are some quite better ones than this out there.

Yeah, Kurzweil Technologies Inc. make excellent speech synthesis/recognition software.
That guy is possibly the worst reporter I have ever seen, though. Half of the kids on YouTube could have made that piece more captivating than he did. Newsflash: miming double quotes with your fingers while talking doesn't make what you're saying funny.
It's sad how long people will keep their faith in Microsoft to deliver a quality product. Blasted monopolies....

God, "...call it voice recognition, but after today's major technical glitch, you and I may want to refer to it as voice ^^ 'voice recognition' ^^ instead." You know what? That reporter /does/ suck. I didn't even get that "reck" thing until at the end, when he repeated it, againt.
That is one of the stupidest jokes, ever.
And I agree, poor guy. I think too much bad things are said about Microsoft these days. I mean, the new things like IE7 seems like something to look forward. Much better than Mozilla FireFox with features and things, from what it seems.

In my opinion it's fixed. Microsoft wanting some attention, which is what I think they made the blue screen appear.

Bah IE 7 is just a microsoft version of all the other browsers, they stole the tabbed browsing, the search bar, and the RSS button, I am not impressed at all :(
^Douglas, you're so right about ie7, I tryed it at my friends house, and I am used to working in firefox or flock so I by accident pressed ctrl+t or something of that nature and I'm surprised to see they have tabbed browsing and I'm just thinking to myself, wow, they stole that from firefox... Also this just came to mind, are microsoft employees allowed to use firefox or flock, or opera, or any browser either than IE, and in the case of browsers what about different operating systems, like unix, linux, or mac?
