I have made the basic layout (its iframes) and i want to put headers on, ive designed the headers, and thats all fine, but the text colour doesn't show up very well, how do i change the text colour?

As for your header, what were you looking to do with that image? If you want to use it as the title thing for each of your pages, you can either put text on it in a graphics program [making separate ones for each page, of course], or you could position a div layer over it with the text inside of the div.
