I signed up for a GoDaddy domain(http://www.justme13.net/) and GoDaddy hosting this morning around 8 am. Everything has set up wonderfully and VERY fast, I can log in and view my control panel, everything has worked great thus far. However, I cannot set up the site to work with my FTP, Fetch. Has anyone dealt with the Fetch program or GoDaddy as a host? I know my site is activiated because when I visit it the "Parked" message is no longer displayed and it is a "Coming Soon" page. Any help would be great! Thanks!

I've never used Fetch or GoDaddy, but you could check out their respective support pages for help.

Nope, I have not uploaded anything because I cannot setup FTP. What do you use to FTP files to your site?

I got it working...kind of. I can upload files through the online FTP client in the File Manager, but I can't set up any external FTP...I must be doing something wrong there. Hopefully I will get it to work soon, but until then the in web client will work fine for me to get started. Thanks! :)

Well of course you can upload your files manually, but FTP is so much better. :D What does it say when you try to connect? And I'd suggest you to try SmartFTP (http://www.smartftp.com/). :)

Arwen, if justme13 is using Fetch, it must mean that he/she is using a Mac, since Fetch is a Mac-only program. And SmartFTP is a Windows-only program.

Yep, I am on a Mac. :) I have tryed Fetch & Cyberduck, neither have worked out for me, ug. I've contacted GoDaddy, so hopefully they can help me sort this all out. Thanks guys! If anyone else knows of a Mac FTP program that they have used successfully with GoDaddy hosting, let me know!

I'm using CuteFTP and it's just great. There's also a Mac version here (http://www.cuteftp.com/cuteftpmac/). You can download a free trial and see if it works. :)
